E-2313 — Tire Vulcanization Label

Overview

The vulcanization label is the industrial ID card of tires and rubber products, carrying batch traceability, production management and quality tracing. E-2313 is a 3 mil white matte PET label with a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive, purpose-built to survive high-temperature curing without lifting, blurring or corroding — keeping barcodes scannable across the full molding → curing → inspection → warehousing flow.

Process Challenges

• Edge-lift or fall-off after high-temperature, high-pressure curing — batch rework that drives up cost
• Barcodes blur or fade after curing, scan failures break MES traceability
• Poor resistance to oil, acid/alkali and solvents damages the marking in harsh workshops
• Heat-shrink and dimensional distortion of the facestock, unfit for automated line labeling
• Weak bond on rough rubber surfaces — insufficient initial tack, labels shift after application

Features

• Strong temperature resistance: -40°C~200°C service range fits tire curing; the facestock resists distortion and shrinkage for excellent dimensional stability.
• High post-cure bond: a special rubber-based PSA delivers strong initial tack, peel and holding; after curing it bonds firmly to rubber without edge-lift, even on rough surfaces.
• Rugged for harsh conditions: waterproof, acid/alkali, solvent, scratch and abrasion resistant against workshop oil, moisture and aggressive chemicals.
• Excellent print & scanning: 3 mil white matte PET with matched ribbon prints crisp, high-contrast barcodes for reliable high-speed line scanning and full-flow traceability.

Applications

• Automotive tire curing: applied to the green-tire sidewall/bead before molding; permanently bonds under 180°C–220°C curing. Records unique tire ID, plant code, shift, mold number and production time for MES traceability from molding to warehousing.
• Automotive rubber parts (co-cure): air springs, vibration-damping rubber blocks, dust boots and coolant hoses — records part number, batch and supplier code for OEM parts traceability, staying readable against engine-bay oil and chemicals.
• Industrial molded rubber: V-belts, timing and conveyor belts, oil seals, rubber gaskets and large pads — the label co-cures with the product for model, spec and pressure-rating marking.
