Overview

Oily, rough or coated metal surfaces are difficult for conventional labels — oil films interfere with adhesive contact, and handling, cleaning and assembly can cause lifting, detachment or barcode wear. E-2814 is a white PET thermal-transfer label stock for automotive, electronics and industrial manufacturing. Application-tested on oily castings, engine components, industrial nameplates and production traceability, it gives MES systems a stable 'one part, one code' identity.

Features

High adhesion — high initial tack and peel strength for stable bonding to a range of industrial surfaces; application-verified on oily and rough castings.
Durable 4 mil PET film — 0.100 mm white polyester with good mechanical strength to withstand abrasion and impact during production, handling and assembly.
Abrasion-resistant print coating — a specialized topcoat for thermal-transfer variable printing that improves resistance of the printed image to abrasion, smearing and demanding environments.
Solvent-cleaning resistance — withstands a variety of solvent-cleaning conditions; paired with a suitable ribbon, barcodes, QR codes and serial numbers stay clearly readable.
Wide temperature range — −40°C to 200°C, suitable for automotive under-the-hood parts and industrial applications with temperature variation.
Full-process traceability — prints product numbers, batches, equipment, inspection status and other variable data, connecting the shop floor to MES systems.
