
E-8732W is a 2 mil (0.065 mm) white antistatic polyimide thermal-transfer label stock for functional labelling of highly specified electronic goods. With appropriate thermal-transfer ribbons it delivers high-quality, high-resolution print for topside printed-circuit-board manufacture and traceability. The polyimide construction is dimensionally stable at high temperature and chemically resistant, and prints resist smearing when the board and label are removed directly from a reflow or wave-solder environment. The material minimizes the charge generated when the label is removed from the liner and prevents a significant charge from building on the label surface after application — suited to static-sensitive assemblies and ESD-protected areas.
