ESD-XF78 — Polyonics ESD-Safe Polyimide PCB Labels

Overview

The Polyonics XF78 series are ESD-safe polyimide (PI) labels for identifying static-sensitive circuit boards. Each construction pairs a polyimide film with a low-charging acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, a static-dissipative white topcoat and a low-charging liner, all engineered for thermal-transfer printing. Surface resistance is controlled between 10⁸ and 10¹¹ ohms, and the labels comply with ANSI/ESD S20.20, IEC 61340 and ANSI/ESD S541 for use in ESD-protected areas (EPA).

• Temperature rating: 100 hrs @ 150 °C long-term · 5 min @ 260 °C operating · 90 sec @ 300 °C short-term — withstands reflow / wave solder.
• Adhesion (stainless steel, 24 h): ≥ 30 oz/in (≥ 33 N/100 mm) for XF-781 / XF-784; ≥ 40 oz/in (≥ 44 N/100 mm) for XF-782. Low-charging PSA/liner < 125 V.
• Compliance: ANSI/ESD S20.20 · IEC 61340 · ANSI/ESD S541 (EPA) · REACH · RoHS · Halogen-Free.
