E-4812 cryogenic storage label on PP cryovials

Cryogenic sample identification becomes particularly challenging once the sample is already frozen.

In biobanking, biotechnology and laboratory workflows, bringing a frozen sample back toward room temperature simply for labeling creates an unnecessary interruption in the cold process. After labeling, the identification must then remain attached and readable through long-term storage at cryogenic temperatures and repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

ETIA's E-4812 cryogenic storage label is designed around this frozen-sample workflow.

Designed for the full frozen lifecycle

E-4812 is designed for identification of PP cryovials, test tubes and laboratory storage boxes, with a flexible white film facestock and permanent acrylic adhesive system. Its key performance targets the full frozen lifecycle:

When paired with an appropriate thermal-transfer printer and suitable ribbon, E-4812 supports sample ID, serial numbers, barcodes and other variable identification throughout the storage lifecycle.

Typical applications include biobanking, cell and tissue storage, pharmaceutical research, biotechnology, clinical laboratories and long-term biological sample storage.

The product is designed around one essential requirement: keep the identification with the sample throughout its frozen lifecycle.

E-4812 samples are available for customer evaluation.
